Step 1 - Visit the Cambodian e-Visa website
- The first step is to search for the Cambodian e-Visa portal on your internet browser.
Step 2 - Find and use the ‘Check and Change’ section on the website
- Once you reach the website’s homepage, you will find several options to select from, including but not limited to ‘Apply’, ‘Visa information ’, and Track Application Status.
- Drag your cursor all the way towards an option called “Track Application Status” to access the status checking tool, which will help you to check the status of your eVisa application.
- This section is primarily designed to show the status of the application itself.
Step 3 - Type in your application information
The system will then provide a prompt to gather specific details that match the information in your submitted application. You need:
Order ID Number
- A unique number will be assigned to you as soon as you have submitted your Cambodian e-Visa application, and the number will be provided in the confirmation email sent to your personal email address.
Passport Number
- Be careful when you are entering your passport number in the given field on the status page, as even a single error can lead to plenty of complications and mistakes.
Step 4 - Review Your Cambodia e-Visa Status
As soon as you have submitted your details for checking status, the Cambodian status portal will then fully display the status of your application in real time, which can be one of three instances:
Pending/Under Review
- Your application has been received and is in the process of being reviewed.
- The processing time is 3 - 5 Days, but delays may occur during the peak holiday season.
Approved
- Your Cambodia e-Visa has been approved and has been sent to your personal email.
- You can download and print your Cambodia e-Visa in PDF format.
- The approved eVisa is electronically linked to your passport; however, you must also carry a printed copy for verification purposes.
Rejected/Incomplete
- Your application was either declined or flagged as incomplete.
- In this case, you may need to reapply or Contact Support for clarification.
Step 5 - Download and Print Your Cambodia e-Visa
In case your status shows that your e-Visa is ‘Approved’, you can immediately download your e-Visa document by following these steps below:
- Once you have received the Cambodian e-Visa, save it in PDF format and copy it to your device.
- Try to print at least 1 or 2 copies before you leave for the country. One, you are required to present at immigration, and the other, you must have as a backup.
- Always keep your printed copy right alongside your passport during your trip in case you need to show it later on.
Essential Tips & Best Practices
- Although standard processing is completed within 3 - 5 Days, you can select rush processing, which delivers the eVisa within 2 - 3 Days, or super rush processing, which takes around 1 - 2 Days, but the processing time can vary during the holiday season.
- Ensure that you apply at least 2 weeks in advance of your trip to avoid many last-minute issues.
- Check your personal inbox and spam/junk folder every day after submitting your application, as it may go to either one of those locations.
- This way, even after sending the Cambodian e-Visa application for review, the Cambodia e-Visa team will send notifications about status updates and how far along the e-Visa is.
- Your e-Visa is only valid if the passport number and details match exactly.
- If you notice any mistakes, such as wrong numbers and spelling errors, you should immediately correct them yourself
